The 2008 Dean & Chadlington Summer Music Festival follows on from the unqualified success of the 2007 festival which received an ecstatic response from packed houses throughout the festival.

The 2008 festival features an array of international artists and personalities of a standard not regularly found in this stunning area of the Cotswolds. Opera forms a central part of the festival with a spectacular opera gala on the Saturday night. Connoisseurs of choral music can enjoy the Oxford Baroque Soloists with special guest artist, violinist Sara Wosltenholme on the Friday night of the festival in a programme to include the stunning Fauré Requiem.

Exquisite music in beautiful venues is central to the ethos of the festival which this year includes dawn and dusk recitals, a 'meet the artists' event, lunchtime recitals, the hugely popular children's concert, celebrity guest readers and 'serenaded' afternoon teas.
