The Oxford Baroque Soloists
The Oxford Baroque Soloists was formed by David Crown in 2002 to give the best singers from across the university the chance to work on solo and choral repertoire with top professional singers, coaches and directors in masterclass and performance situations. There have been visits from among others James Gilchrist, Roddy Williams, Eugene Asti, Robin Bowman and directors from Glyndebourne Festival Opera. The personnel changes from year to year but the high standards set have ensured many invitations to give concerts in Oxford and elsewhere, with many former members now studying at music college or entering the profession.
