One of the world's leading guitar quartets plays a selection of dazzling pieces from their forthcoming CD - Brazilia!! - scheduled for release on Chandos Records in early 2009. The Aquarelle Guitar Quartet achieved the almost impossible feat of beating off all the traditional and most popular ensembles to be the only chamber group to reach the finals of the 2007 Young Concert Artists Trust Awards. Their Chandos Records release represents the first time in the UK that a major classical label has released a CD of music by a guitar quartet. The AGQ is made up of four of the most talented guitarists to graduate from the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.
