of Western Australia colleagues Craig Ogden and Paul
Tanner (percussion) have teamed up to form a trans-global duo
with a focus on tuned percussion (marimba/vibraphone), multi-percussion
and guitar. Despite living in different hemispheres, OgdenTanner regularly
tour Australia and Europe and released their debut CD together
in June 2002. The dynamic pair performed together at the 2000  Terrace
Proms Festival in Perth, Western Australia for the first time since
their student years together at the University of WA. Coinciding
with the release of their CD, the duo performed at the 2002 Darwin
International Guitar Festival (July 3-13,
2002) before traveling to the UK where their performances included
the 2002 Commonwealth Games Festival ‘Pulse’ in
Manchester, the Carlisle International Summer Music Festival,
Bath International Guitar Festival, Lake District Summer Music
Festival and recitals in Hastings and London.
